Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s daughter Ida Ali has announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Krish Agrawal.
Ida recently travelled to Norway with Krish, where he proposed to her against the backdrop of the mountains. Sharing glimpses of the special moment, Ida posted a video showing her emotional reaction as Krish went down on one knee. She also gave her followers a look at her diamond engagement ring before turning the camera towards her fiancé.
In another social media post, Ida shared pictures from the proposal, capturing the moment Krish asked her to marry him. The couple shared a heartfelt celebration after Ida accepted the proposal.
The announcement received warm reactions from Ida’s friends and followers, with several celebrities congratulating the couple. Actor Khushi Kapoor commented, "So Cuteee", while Main Vaapas Aaunga actors Vedang Raina and Sharvari also extended their wishes.

Like her father, Ida has pursued a career in filmmaking. She has directed projects including Maya, Lift and Thai Massage.

The film features Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari and Vedang Raina in key roles.
Set against the backdrop of personal memories and the Partition, the period drama revolves around 95-year-old Ishar Singh Grewal, portrayed by Naseeruddin Shah, who suffers a stroke while trying to travel to Sargodha in present-day Pakistan.
As fragments of his life before Partition begin to return, his grandson Nirvair, played by Diljit Dosanjh, comes back from England in search of answers and discovers hidden family secrets. The mystery surrounding Ishar’s emotional journey forms the central thread of the narrative.
